Panotour Pro offered a wide array of customisable hotspot options, however by today they look dated. 3DVista can preview the tour in various desktop and modern mobile phone screen/tablet resolutions for ultimate visual compatibility.

With 3DVista, I can create my virtual tour for desktop and then have a whole separate layout/design for mobile/tablets that works seamlessly together. While you can modify your tour to be more mobile-friendly, it wasn't designed to be as mobile-friendly compared to desktops. The one thing that stood out like a sore thumb was Panotour Pro was heavily focused on desktops.

This way, you can explore the virtual tour made with 3DVista and compare it to your experience with Panotour Pro. I created the virtual tour below using 3DVista Pro to showcase all the points I will be talking about.

I know you can buy additional assets from the 3DVista Marketplace and that you can download plugins for Panotour Pro but to be as fair as possible I will be discussing the features from the base packages. Please note I will be exploring the base package of 3DVista Virtual Tour Pro versus Panotour Pro. Today I will be explaining my top 11 reasons why I switched to 3DVista.

I was looking for a solution with a lot of flexibility/options, no ongoing fees, the ability to host the tours locally with a look and feel that made my new/existing tours look fresh and modern.Īfter comparing 10+ solutions, I ended up deciding on 3DVista.

When I did my research, I was looking for a few things in a new virtual tour software solution. After a year and a half, I reached a point where I needed to make a change. I was happy with the software, and Panotour Pro still works to this day. As a long time user of Kolor products such as Panotour Pro, APG and APV I didn't know where to turn. These are entirely his words, we have not bribed, convinced or otherwise led him to say certain things ?Įver since Kolor was abruptly shut down in September 2018 many of their users including myself, felt like they were left out in the cold. As he made the choice to switch his business over to 3DVista in Summer 2020, he kindly offered to write a little experience/impression blog post about his switch that we could publish on our blog. He specialises in high-end custom branded virtual tours with his company Simply 360. I love real estate photography and believe that people can earn money by doing this.Dimitri Cassimatis is a 360 photographer and virtual tour creator based in Sydney, Australia. We could not do it without a pay per tour hosted solution. We do about 1300 real estate productions a year and of those about 300 order drone with it. We use a hosted solution over at our Traverse City real estate photography company here in Traverse City. These features will typically include weekly stats, lead capture, photo delivery tools, photography manager tools, single property websites and more. The hosted and private labeled solutions come in very handy when you’re doing a lot of productions (especially good for real estate) and you need speed mixed with lots of features. This will require programming, launching a hosting server and keeping that going for the customer. You will have one cost and ZERO ongoing virtual tour software fees and the MOST flexibility on the product. If you’re not going to do a lot of tours a shelfware system is a decent way to go. I do like their marketing however I’ve never tried the system. If you do come to us from here please mention it and I’ll make sure that your Real Tour Vision salesperson does something special for you for being a member. We’re a new member and I’m working on what our discount will be for IVRPA members.

There’s a free trial on our site if anyone would like to test it out. That has grown to quite a bit since then. In 2005 we started sending photography and virtual reality jobs to the photographers in our network.

RTV’s been working with and helping professional photographers stand out since 1999. While it’s mostly used for real estate, it also works well for putting together business virtual tours. We don’t have monthly fees and it’s a pay per tour fee – $12. The virtual tour system is 100% white label and https secure. Everything is HTML 5 and we’re always working on adding in new features, listening to what photographers want and overall just making it better. Hello everyone! RTV’s virtual tour software allows for still photos, spherical panoramas and 1080 full-motion video playback.
